These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Inlined ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). Inlined is an AI-powered autocomplete application for macOS. By downloading, installing, or using Inlined, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

You may need to create an account to access paid features. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Using Inlined

What you can do

  • Use Inlined for personal and lawful business purposes
  • Use local AI models for offline autocomplete (Pro and Lifetime plans)
  • Connect your own cloud AI API keys (Pro and Lifetime plans)
  • Customize your dictionary, preferences, and learning data

What you cannot do

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell Inlined or any part of it
  • Use Inlined to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
  • Circumvent any technical limitations or licensing restrictions

Your content

Inlined processes your text locally to provide autocomplete suggestions. You retain full ownership of everything you write. We do not claim any rights to your text, documents, or any content processed by the application.

Your dictionary entries, correction rules, style preferences, and other learning data remain yours. You can export or delete this data at any time through the app.

Cloud AI services

All paid plans include built-in cloud AI. Pro and Lifetime plans can also connect custom API keys from compatible providers (e.g. Groq, Cerebras, Together AI). Your use of third-party services is subject to the respective provider's terms and pricing. Inlined is not responsible for the availability, performance, or data handling practices of third-party API providers.

Plans and pricing

Inlined offers the following plans:

  • Plus: Monthly or annual subscription with built-in cloud AI and productivity features
  • Pro: Monthly or annual subscription with cloud AI and advanced features
  • Lifetime: One-time payment for permanent access to all features

All plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial.

Payments and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By purchasing a subscription or Lifetime plan, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.

Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period (monthly or annually). Prices may change, but we will notify you in advance of any price increases.

Refunds

We offer full refunds within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Refund requests are processed through Paddle. To request a refund, contact us via email or through Paddle's customer portal.

System requirements

Inlined requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. Local AI model support requires Apple Silicon (M1 or newer). We do not guarantee compatibility with unsupported configurations.

Updates

We regularly improve Inlined with new features, performance enhancements, and bug fixes. Updates are delivered through the app. We may update these terms from time to time, and the latest version will always be available on this page.

Disclaimer

Inlined is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate, and you are responsible for reviewing and accepting any autocomplete suggestions. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inlined's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the application shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Inlined at any time by uninstalling the app and canceling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your local data remains on your device.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Inlined is located. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by applicable law.

Third-party trademarks

All product names, logos, and brands mentioned on this website are the property of their respective owners. Any use of third-party trademarks is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship by the trademark holders.
